Seeker of Lost Alumni
Stanford Engineering needs your help
Believe it or not, there are Stanford Engineering alumni out in this cold cruel world who have lost contact with Stanford. They do not know of the extraordinary new research that has taken place on The Farm. They are not able to take advantage of the career programs, lectures, regional events all with a special engineering focus.
We miss them. Every time an eNews is bounced back as “user unknown,” a chill wind blows through our office and we feel sad.
But there is hope, because there are many more engineering alumni—you, for example—who have made the effort to stay in touch with Stanford.
Become a “Seeker of Lost Alumni”
- Share the eNews with other Stanford engineering alumni
- Ask an alum/co-worker if they keep in touch with Stanford
- Brag about the great things your alma mater is doing for the common good whenever you get a chance
- AND, please get them to fill out an update form.:
Let us know that you are willing to fulfill the requirements listed above by sending an e-mail to Steve Stanghellini with something like:
Yes, I want to save my fellow engineering alums from that dark winter of isolation from Stanford Engineering! Include your name, degree, and e-mail address.
Thank you for helping your fellow alumni get reconnected. You will be rewarded with the "SoE Seekers Shield" suitable for ironing-on or framing with all bragging rights therein accorded.

What's Alumni Relations?
We're here for you. The Engineering Alumni Relations office exists to help you go farther, learn more, and make connections. Our mission is to build and sustain the community of Stanford engineers. We also coordinate activities with the Stanford Alumni Association, so that you can get the most out of both organizations.
